Allie was educated at Gill Academy of Hair Design in Wisconsin where she was trained with Goldwell color. After graduation she worked in an Aveda Institute specializing in skin and hair care. She has been trained in Kerastase, Shu Umera, Keratin Complex, Pravana, and L'Oreal.
Allie moved to Houston to pursue her "happily ever after" in which she married a husband who "balances me perfectly". Describing herself as happy go-lucky, she is extremely positive and optimistic. Allie loves to meet new people and feels that her clients ultimately become her friends.

Angie attended WCJC Cosmetology. She has trained with famous stylists such as Nick Arrojo, Jo Blackwell, Shawna Parvin, and Christopher and Sonya Dove. Angie has also attended the Goldwell Trend Zoom Hair Show in Cancun, Mexico and received education from KMS in California, and Bumble & bumble of New York.
Angie uses her training to create “the perfect look” for each client. Her personal sense of style inspires beauty and translates into amazing looks that continue to make her clients extremely happy. Angie loves to be adventurous. She loves to travel and experience different cultures. Already bi-lingual in Spanish and English, Angie is currently learning Italian.
Bethany graduated from San Jacinto College and is trained in Shu Umera, Kerastase, Goldwell, and L’Oreal to name a few. She loves learning new techniques and trends and is continuously studying her craft. Since she was young, Bethany has enjoyed and pursued a career in hair dressing. “My Barbies were my first clients!”
Bethany is dedicated to making her client’s time in the salon both pleasant and relaxing. She loves hair dressing because it allows you to challenge your sense of style and create expressions of personality unique to each client.
Bethany is filled with a love of life. She is newly married and expecting her first child.
Caroline was attending the University of Houston studying Business and Photography before she decided to study Cosmetology. She began working at Studio 3 as a part-time receptionist and eventually became Darcy’s apprentice. She has attended many classes and hair shows including training given by Nick Arrojo.
Caroline has literally grown up in the salon! Her friendly, easy going personality has endeared her to so many people. From being Sasha, the U of H mascot, to traveling to Central America on a mission trip, Caroline is constantly focusing her life on forming lasting relationships. “Life is a precious and beautiful gift.”
Cynthia has been practicing her craft in the Houston area for over a decade. She has also traveled extensively, learning from some of the best hair stylists in the world. Cynthia thrives on making her clients feel special because each one is special to her. “Every client is my favorite. I feel beautiful when I am making someone else look and feel beautiful.”
Cynthia has two lovely daughters. She is extremely responsible and giving. Cynthia cares for her clients like she cares for her family, and that is a wonderful thing.
Ironically, Darcy began her education across the street at West University Elementary School. After graduating from Lamar High School, she achieved her Associates Degree from San Jacinto College. Darcy became an outstanding stylist at the Michael Thomas Salon in Palm Desert, California. She returned to Houston to continue her career at Beautique Day Spa in the Rice Village. She became a recognized educator for Goldwell Color, as well as, a Bumble & bumble Network educator.
Darcy’s dream of creating an innovative, upscale hair salon became a reality in June of 2006 when the doors opened at Studio 3. She continues to maintain an inviting environment for her clients, as well as, inspire Houston’s upcoming talent in the hair industry through a state of the art Apprentice Program. Darcy loves Houston and the Beauty Industry, and there is no better place to see a reflection of her talent than at Studio 3.
Jenna was educated at Paul Mitchell where she was Valedictorian of her graduating class. She has also received continuing education by taking various Goldwell cut and color classes. Jenna is constantly expanding and perfecting her skills as a hairdresser. She also feels that educating her clients is extremely important so they can recreate the salon look at home.
Jenna is eager to please. She enjoys communicating and connecting with people. “I love taking someone’s bad day and turning it around. My career results in a lot of happiness for my clients and for me.”
Jennifer manages the daily operations of Studio 3. She is well known in the community as she is a native Houstonian and previously co-owned The Children’s Greenhouse in the West U-Rice University area. She attended Lamar High School and the University of Houston.
Jennifer is dedicated to excellent customer service. She is committed to creating an inviting atmosphere and an outstanding experience for each client, as well as, each member of the Studio 3 team. Her love for the community, patrons of the salon, and the Studio 3 staff is apparent in everything she does. Jennifer’s devotion to excellence continues to make Studio 3 a premier salon.
Jenny graduated from San Jacinto College with a degree in Cosmetology. While attending school, she has been a receptionist at Studio 3. Jenny is currently in line to be Darcy’s next Apprentice. She is already exhibiting great talent and understanding of the industry. The future holds great things for her!
John is the Front Desk Supervisor and a vital part of Studio 3. His vast experience in the retail industry and his exceptional customer service make him the perfect person to help you get the attention you need.
John and his partner live in the Galleria area and love gardening. His attention to detail and his love of all things beautiful make him a huge asset to the Studio 3 team.
Kim began her passion for hair dressing as a senior in high school. She apprenticed for Anne Brae, an internationally known stylist. Since that time, Kim has built an impressive career of her own. She loves creating a personal look for each client with passion and compassion. “My clients are like my extended family.” Kim makes sure the proper look is attained whether it is for a wedding, a prom, job interview, or the everyday.
Kim is artistic and a bit eccentric. She is happily married and has dogs, rabbits and a cat. “I don’t like to be limited, so I try not to limit others.” Kim’s paintings have decorated the walls of Studio 3 and are another expression of her love of art.
Laura is a graduate of Baylor University. She is a multi-generational Texan and native Houstonian. This is her second business venture with Jennifer. They owned and ran a private preschool--The Children’s Greenhouse in the West U-Rice University area. After closing The Greenhouse and enjoying a short retirement in Pennsylvania, Laura and her husband returned to Houston.  She joined the Studio 3 team and helped complete plans for the new salon.
Combined with Darcy’s artistic talent and Jennifer’s management style, Laura’s business skills complete the three in Studio 3.
Lynn has been preparing for a career in the beauty industry since she was a student at Deer Park High School. After graduating from San Jacinto College, she became a Goldwell Color Ambassador. Lynn believes that continuing education is extremely important. She has attended hair shows in Paris and Las Vegas and recently traveled to Toronto for Intensive Color Training Classes.
Lynn loves a challenge! She can do almost anything with hair. When a client wants a change, she is able to make it her own creative moment. “I like making someone feel like a new person, and they leave smiling from ear to ear.”
Lynn and her husband live in San Leon. “I love working in the city and chillin’ by the bay!”
Ondina originates from Honduras. She has been a Shampoo Assistant in the Houston area for many years. Ondina has been a trusted and loyal employee of Studio 3 since it opened in 2006. Clients enjoy her experienced shampooing techniques. She knows how to relieve stress and prepare you for a wonderful salon experience.
Rhonda was educated in Port Arthur at the Stillwell Technical Center. After school she was with the Regis Corporation. She has received continuing education from Jo Blackwell of New York and apprenticed under Darcy. She is trained in the Goldwell and L’Oreal color lines.
Rhonda has been with the salon since the day it opened. She has perfected her skills as a stylist. As the mother of two young adult daughters, she has also learned to be a great listener. “Sometimes you are more than just a stylist.” Rhonda loves creating beauty inside and out.
